ABOUT WVICU
WVICU serves six not-for-profit member institutions.
Our mission is to advance collectively the interests of West Virginia's independent colleges and universities and their students.
WE SERVE
WVICU institutions serve 6,000 students including over 2,100 West Virginia residents. Nearly 1,800 are first-generation college students.
WE BELONG
The total estimated annual economic impact of WVICU members is $233 million.
WE ACHIEVE
The average four-year graduation rate at WVICU institutions is 18% higher than WV’s public institutions; and the six-year graduation rate is 12% higher.
